Happy Holidays- However You Celebrate (or don’t)…..

Like many families around the world, I lit the menorah for the first night of Chanukah. It is always a magical time to chant a familiar tune that has been passed from generation to generation.  It is a time to remember, not only the history of how the holiday came to be, or why it was called the miracle of lights, but to remember family. If you live in a different city than your parents, the time spent together during the holiday can allow you to see how well they are managing. Be aware of the small things and things that are different. For example, are you noticing weight loss, balance issues, is….

November is (Please) Make A Will Month

Reposted: My fellow bloggers and I write frequently about Powers of Attorney, however my concerns are often focused on the lack of planning when it comes to making Powers of Attorney for both Personal Care and Property. More specifically, although I do not have any statistical data, my subject matter experience tells me that people are more likely to have an attorney named solely for property than having both or….
